This tastes just as good as it always did from the chippie. Foreigners are intrigued by mushy peas, they just don't understand the attraction. I'm not sure what the difference is between these and the ordinary tin of mushy peas though, I'm sure they must be very similar. I even take these to work and eat them cold.

I love having fish and chips with mushy peas any time I go back to the UK, so I've reproduced it myself and it all goes fine apart from the mushy peas. For some reason it just isn't the same. So these are a great way to get the proper mushy peas at home abroad.
