As it is approaching Easter, they always have lamb for the traditional dinner so these lamb cubes will give my Finnish friends an extra special taste experience.

i live in Thailand after spending nearly 20 years in UK . i get accustomed to English food Roast Lamb or Irish stew are the 2 Lamb dishes that i loved . it is very hard to find oxo stock cubes in Thailand let alone a Lamb oxo cubes because most people only have Beef or Chicken cubes for sale so i am very happy to be able to order from here .anything British ! 5 stars everytime

I've been using OXO cubes for many many years although I don't remember being able to purchase anything except the original beef flavour when I lived in the UK.

As an immigrant of Holland, I have tried and often failed to replace certain foodstuff.

OXO is in a class on it's own.

I haven't been able to buy the lamb cubes for years but came up with an alternative from Bisto in a packet which was mint flavored.

Lamb is slowly but surely being sold more and more in Holland although I usually prefer to buy my 'joints' at a wholesaler. The store selling the Bisto has recently closed for business (the owners have taken over a B&B in Blackpool - a far cry from The Hague!!)

I was thrilled to find BCS selling OXO lamb cubes - we love the mint taste.

And in true British style, I was taught which condiments/sauces enhance which meat/fish so would never use a lamb cube to make gravy for a chicken or beef meal.

We can't get this product yet in Canada so I was intrigued when my niece sent some over for me. I have used other Oxo cubes so wondered if this would measure up to the beef and chicken versions.

Lamb is expensive in Toronto so I have to admit I was skeptical, I need not have been concerned as it was awesome. I actually had a bowl of gravy the next day with a hunk of bread. If you like roast lamb as I do this one's for you.

I didn't have high hopes for these Oxo Lamb stock cubes but I gave them a try anyway as they come from a good make. Well, instead of using them in a roast lamb dinner, something that was too precious to mess with, I used them in a Lamb Biriani. It gave the dish a wonderful depth of flavour. Highly recommended for highlighting a lamb meal, but not a gravy.

At home we have the chicken and the beef Oxo cubes and wanted to add the lamb stock cubes to our collection. We were very disappointed. It has a very strong mint taste and flavour, so it is only for Lamb and Mint lovers. It didn't go well with lamb chops and I don't think it will suit any other type of meat.
