To dunk or not to dunk, that is the question. They do stay firm in tea, but they are just as delicious eaten alone or at the same time as a cup of tea.

Wonderful texture, crunchiness and especially flavour. They ought to come with a "health" warning though: they are soooo moreish. Those packets from the British Corner Shop just disappear far too quickly.

Ginger Nuts are the 'non plus ultra' of ginger biscuits. Nothing beats them with afternoon tea especially when they are dunked in it - a habit which was disapproved when I was young and lived in UK, but I can now indulge in at leisure! Only problem is that the packet doesn't last long enough.

McVities Ginger Nuts have been around forever, literally! They are packaged in a familiar orange wrapping, in the shape of a cylinder - you can't miss them.

Once open they need to be stored in an airtight container. Ginger Nuts are a timless biscuit - they are very crunchy (although I like to dip them in my tea!) theyhave a stronge taste of ginger and they are very more-ish.

They are suitable for vegetarians and are 47 calories per biscuit - so not the end of the world to have a couple with a cup of tea.

10/10 for me!

A comforting reminder of home. My husband a ginger addict loves them. They are crisp and perfect with tea and coffee. The first thing to go when we have ex pat and French visitors. Also good when blitzed in the blender to use as a base for a ginger or lemon cheesecake instead of the usual Digestives. Keep them airtight in storage.

I must say that after not eating ginger nuts in more than 30 years , when they arrived they made my day. They have not changed one bit the taste, the crunchy hard ginger nuts that tingle your taste buds. Thanks to BCS I can eat McVities biscuits again.

Nothing beats McVities Ginger Nuts with a nice cup of tea. I usually never dip my biscuits in hot beverages, but Ginger Nuts are just as nice soft as they are crunchy.

One is never enough so the packet usually gets finished fast, this can be good though as they can loose their crunchiness quite quickly.

These are the original and the best ginger nuts you can buy. They feature a stong yet not overly powering ginger flavour with some other spice mixed in. A nice crunchy biscuit, for best results you should store them in a tin or a zip lock bag after opening to retain the crunch.
