The best choccy biccy ever. Have been about for as long as I can remember, a real family favourite for special occasions when I was growing up. My dad loved to dunk them in his tea, and just as the chocolate would melt slightly he would eat it whole. Childhood memories ... my dad loved them so much he would pile 3 on top of each other, and before you know it, had eaten them.

Even now I live in NZ, the taste of Mc'V choc digestives are still the best, thank you British Corner Shop for having them on your shelf, a treat for us, even though we the other side of the world.

One of the most delectable and, in many ways, comforting tastes to accompany a cup of tea. Or on their own.

I like to dunk a bit of the biscuit in tea, just enough to melt a bit of chocolate. There is a thin line between the time needed to do this and the point where it will break off into your cuppa. Avoiding this misfortune is just one of the entertaining features of this biscuit.

McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives remain the king of biscuits, and are highly craved after by many ex-pats I come across. The crumbly texture, smooth milky chocolate and wonderful taste of golden wheat are truly a winning combination. For those of us not in the UK, it's a rare treat to have a chocolate digestive from McVities - and I bet many of us used to persuade friends and relatives to put a pack or two in their luggage before British Corner Shop provided an alternative option. Delicious when dunked in coffee, too.
