Good Morning Granola
Hannah is taking you across the pond with this recipe but the ingredients are quintessentially British.
Perfect for a healthy and filling start to the day.
Makes 6 servings.
Ingredients
Available from British Corner Shop
- 200g of Quaker Jumbo Rolled Oats
- 6 tablespoons of Gale's Blossom Clear Honey
- 6 tablespoons of Flora Pure Sunflower Oil
- 50g of Crazy Jack Flaked Almonds
- 100g of Whitworths Sultanas
- 140g of Duerr's Bramley Apple Sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Bart Ground Cinnamon
To be Sourced Locally
- Greek Yoghurt to serve
- Fresh Berries of your choice to serve
Method
Heat the oven to 140°C.
In a bowl, mix the oil, honey, apple sauce and cinnamon.
Stir in the almonds and oats, ensuring they are well coated.
Pour onto a baking tray in a thin layer and bake for 45 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Leave to cool thoroughly, then crumble into small pieces and stir in the sultanas.
Layer in a glass with Greek yoghurt and fresh berries, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
The granola itself can be stored in an airtight container and will keep for over a week.
