These are delicious Allsorts. The various types have distinct flavors....orange, lemon, chocolate...and the packaging keeps them soft and chewy. I dislike very dense and hard liquorice. Whether that's a manufacturing decision or a packaging failure, it never happens with Bassets.

Normally love these, and was excited to get them in Japan where they're not locally available, but in the ones I ordered there was no diversity at all and I didn't get a single Jelly Button Sprog the pink blue ones with little dots. They're my favourite, so I was pretty unhappy! I guess it's the luck of the draw, but Bassetts should do more to avoid this disappointment. Better luck next time I guess :

These are my all time favourites. I would be willing to travel the world just to get them. Love love love this liquorice selection. It tastes even better than it looks and because my kids don't like liquorice, I can have it all to myself!

You can buy other Liquorice Allsorts.... but why would you Bassetts are really the only ones to choose. I've sometimes tried some others, but none come close. And it is great to be able to order these from the British Corner Shop and get them delivered to the US. They are a great treat

Just received my Allsorts. Looking forward to sharing them with my Finnish friends as the brand they have here is nowhere near as good as Bassetts. I have always loved this product and will be ordering more in future.

I love these sweets from as far back as my memory serves me.

Talking of a memory this is one I have never forgotten. As children we went to church every Sunday come hail or shine or national disaster.

I found three of these sweets in my coat pocket and surreptitiously popped them into my mouth, I forgot they make your tongue as black as the ace of spades.

In short, we go up to the alter for Communion, and when the poor priest saw my tongue, his eyes bulged as wide as plates. For the rest of Mass I was thinking that if the priest told my dad I would be in dire straits.

Outside as we waited to thank the good father for the service I was fighting back tears, he looked at me and winked - I guess he liked these sweets too.

I grew up eating licorice allsorts in England. Bassetts are by far the best. The licorice has just the right chew, isn't too sweet and goes well with the sweet layers. My hubby recently divulged that he loved Allsorts..he had only had the American version, but now he won't eat anything but Bassetts.

The original, most delicious Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts are still as nice today as they were when I was a child. Strange, but back then they were not considered a childrens' sweet. I remember they were sort of 'for adults'. Lovely, fun colours and great chewy liquorice in a few different varieties. I particularly like the blue and the pink spog!

5 starsIan from Germany on

Typically British sweets. This liquorice has been around for ever it seems. This is due to there popularity, great taste and fair price.

Packed full of flavour in different fun shapes and colours they sure do bring colour to your candy!

I am sure after one bag of these you will already have chosen your favourite!

Bassetts Allsorts are lovely liquorice candies. Very traditional and enjoyed by different generations, these are perfect to be served as well on a kid's birthday party as when your grandparents come for a visit.

I highly recommend these to anyone who hasn't tried these yet, and if you're already familiar with these, be sure to have at least one bag at home, you never know when you'll need one.

Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts are fabulous. The Bassett brand is now the name of Liquorice and has been around for over 50 years. Its famous for the selection of different styles of liquorice and fondant designed sweets, or "allsorts". Plenty to choose from in each pack, from plain liquorice to layered with fondant flavours of orange, coconut and my favourite the "blue one" which is jelly liquorice covered in blue aniseed balls. Quite delicious! If you have never tried them, I give them 5*
