The reason I bought them was an intriguing name and flavor. I'm not scared of spiciness and missed smoky things, so gave them a shot.. and was very disappointed they were quite spicy, only barely smoky and, as weird as it sounds, tasted very much of cumin. Or I could even say, that I tasted only cumin. I don't hate this spice but did not expect it at all.. It's a unique flavour not everyone might like and I didn't. Talking about the texture, it was thickly cut and very crunchy.
