Cadbury is the best for me as a brand and I am very happy with their products and I must admit we do miss it since we left UK.I like very much these shortcake biscuits and my kids are not far away. Its a perfect combination of biscuit and rich chocolate coating for everyone.I can higly recommend it to everyone.
Cadbury Chocolate Shortcake biscuits are okay but not the best. I find the actual texture of the biscuit too hard and thick, and not like a shortcake should be. The taste of the biscuit isn't great and the chocolate covering is thin and quite sweet. They are okay if you can't buy any other chocolate biscuits but I don't think I will bother buying these again as they are not exciting enough. Very bland, really.
Yet again, another delicious biscuit from Cadburys. I like both digestives and shortcake, so decided to try these out for a change. I love one with my morning cup of coffee, and they dunk well without falling apart, but are not as robust as a HobNob. The only thing I find disappointing, is that Cadburys seem to be getting a bit stingy with the chocolate covering, hence the four stars.
If you cannot decide between buying shortcakes or chocolate biscuits then this product is for you! They are so buttery yet not sickly and they go perfectly with Cadbury's traditionnal milk chocolate. My partner likes to dunk them in his tea while I prefer them after they have been in the fridge for a while so the chocolate does not melt.
You can always rely on Cadbury's to produce a good quality product. This is not my favourite but I certainly would not say no when the packet gets shared around the table. I prefer these straight from the fridge so the chocolate is nice and crunchy. Great to dunk in your hot tea.
Cadbury has always manufactured great chocolate so to top this delectable shortcake with chocolate you know you will get a biscuit that not only you will enjoy but you will be proud to serve.
A nice little indulgence with a cup of coffee or tea.
I prefer to store mine in the refrigerator as I like the chocolate to remain hard.
Cadburys Chocolate shortcake biscuits are two thirds the price of the other well known digestive brands and to my mind they are just as good.
The combination of shortcake biscuit topped with a generous layer of Cadburys milk chocolate leaves a mouthwatering taste that makes you long for more every time.
I was a little bit disappointed when I tried cadburys chocolate shortcake biscuits. I expected them a lot better than they actually are. For me they were tasting a little bit like bad and cheap chocolate. Not so milky. If you have guests you do not like that much let them eat it.
Cadburys Shortcake Biscuits are Cadbury's version of McVities Chocolate Digestives, but not so nice. The biscuit is a rippled layer of chocolate over a golden shortcake. The shortcake is nothing like Walker's shortcake, it's slightly bland and too sweet for my liking. The chocolate is nice, as you would expect from Cadburys, but the layer is quite thin. All in all, not bad, but nothing special.
This is a delicious alternative to the much-loved chocolate digestive biscuits. The crisp shortbread biscuit melts in the mouth and blends with the generous Cadbury's chocolate coating on each one. I actually prefer these than the digestive kind as they are less gritty and they dissolve into nothing as you eat them. The chocolate is of a good thickness too. Overall, a very good quality biscuit.
