Marmalade is my go-to condiment when it comes to toasting. This is one of the best marmalades I have ever tasted. Its full of flavor with the sweetness, tanginess, and thick orange rinds packed densely into the jar. Two slices of wheat toast with generous lashings of this delicious marmalade is a breakfast worth waking up for.

I buy this along with the Vintage Oxford Marmalade, I can't decide which I like best, both are great tasting for the more mature palate, just the right balance, not too sweet and with a thick peel that is essential for a great marmalade, you won't go far wrong with this on your breakfast table, and at a very reasonable price.

There is something very special about "English" marmalade that makes it stand apart from the orange "jam" I can buy in Portugal.

Outwardly they look similar in colour and both have pieces of rind, but the marmalade from Frank Cooper, via BCS, has a much more dense consistency and is packed with rich flavour.

Spread thickly on top of hot buttered wholemeal toast or bread roll is a great start to the day.
