This lemon jelly is easy to prepare and is not too sweet. It is really tasty, the taste does not look artificial like other brands can. Personally, I eat it in the summer for dessert, and it is perfect. Hartleys jellies are by far my favourite. All the others are just failed copies for me. Real good jellies are only found in the UK!
In my books, any variety of flavour of jelly gets top marks. Hartleys lemon jelly in the pantry, means you can whip up an instant dessert with few ingredients, anytime you may need to do so. Perfect just as traditional jelly with its distinctive, tangy lemon flavour, served with custard or blancmange, but have you ever tried mixing half a diluted pack of jelly with firm, whipped cream? Instant mousse or cake pastry filling. Excellent price for somewhat of an all rounder.
