John west red salmon was a rare treat when i was a youngster!! the taste of this canned fish is exceptional and meets with my values as it comes from a sustainable source!! very very expensive but for the occasional treat it is well worth the expense as the whole family enjoy the taste and texture of john west red salmon!!! no waste all good for us

Just received my first order of this. Like the previous reviewer, I also ate salmon and cucumber sandwiches as a child! It was such a pleasure treating myself to the same just now, after all these years. I deducted one star because, while it doesn't bother me too much personally, based on the description on the website I expected skinless and boneless salmon. The can I just ate contained both skin and bone. To be fair, the can itself does not state that the contents are skinless and boneless. So it's probably just the website description. Very tasty though! I'd buy this again for sure.

I love John West Red Salmon! Best canned salmon in the market in my opinion. It's so full of flavours I can even eat it straight out of the can! Most of the times I make a super simple salmon salad out of it though, just add a tablespoon of mayo or ranch dressing and you're set! Very good as a sandwich filling!

I cannot buy this brand of salmon in Canada so I always ask friends and family to bring some over for me when they go to Britain. It is so much nicer than other canned salmon.
I like to make salmon and cucumber sandwiches, just like tea time at my grandmothers house when I was a child.
So very British, now thanks to BCS I can make my own.
