I never thought I would have a Jaffa Cake again after a Coeliac diagnosis, but then I found Kelkin's Jaffa Cakes. They are excellent, the orange and other flavours are spot on. The only very slight negative is that the cake is drier than a regular Jaffa Cake, but it is glutenfree and other than the slight dryness, they are otherwise perfect. I was thrilled to find them.
I got slightly hooked on these while visiting the UK, and was happy to find them available from BCS. I've been glutenfree for many years and had never had regular Jaffa Cakes, so I can't say how they compare. The cake part seems the slightest bit dry, but overall they're very tasty, lovely with a cuppa, and don't have the strange texture sometimes found in glutenfree baked goods. I'd like to be a bit more affordable, but then I would be at risk of adopting my British friend's philosophy that one serving = one entire packet!
