These are more expensive than other mince pies available, but the flavour and quality shines through, if you want that extra special flavour and a little bit of luxury for Christmas then you really cant go wrong with these. The pastry is short and buttery, it melts in your mouth, the spice is just perfect and the mince meat filling is just right, not over sweet, so you can really taste the fruit mix, a really lovely balance of fruit and pastry, just perfect. I prefer mine cold, but that's personal preference, other family members love them served warm with extra thick cream or similar.
