This is a healthy alternative to sugary candy bars. Nakd cashew cookie is loaded with crunchy cashews and plump dates that give it the naturally sweet flavour. There is no added sugar and the texture is soft enough to sink your teeth into. Another positive is that there are no artificial flavours or preservatives. This makes a great healthy breakfast on the go or a quick afternoon snack.

This product from brand 'Nakd' is a bar composed of cashew nuts and dates. The quantity of cashew nuts is slightly higher than that of dates, as per the list of ingredients. However, the flavour of dates is dominant. It provides for natural and lingering sweetness, which is not 'sugary'. The cashew nuts have, perhaps, been lightly roasted, but they preserve their natural flavour. There is no 'flavouring' of sorts added to any of the two ingredients. The bar is firm enough to maintain its shape, yet soft when eaten. However, the name 'Cashew Cookie' seems misleading. The cashew nuts play 'second fiddle' to the dates, and the bar is not reminiscent of any 'Cashew' or even 'Dates'based 'cookie'. The bar, at best, makes for a good occasional purchase, as an alternative to conventional 'sugar'laden bars. Overall, it is left to one's discretion when considering the purchase of this product.

I have been a fan of Nakd bars since the first time I tried it.This cashew cookie bar is my favorite of the range. First the packaging is very attractive, then the creaminess and the natural sweetness of the bar makes it delicious. I do not often buy gluten free or vegan products but this is something I now cannot live without.
