Very powerful ginger taste. I almost choked just breathing in before sipping. I find that it's great for mixed drinks as the ginger won't be diminished much. If you enjoy a strong ginger taste, try this out. Those of you that find ginger, or other spicy flavors, is too much most likely will not enjoy this drink.
Great gingery taste in a refreshing fizzy drink. Old Jamaica ginger beer is good all year round, really refreshing in the summer and warming in the winter. Great for making a sticky gingery sauce for barbecued chicken. Also useful for plenty of cocktails. Lime juice, tequila and ginger beer makes for an interesting drink.
I must say, this is really, really strong flavour. That's what usually people look for in this kind of drink, I suppose, but for me it is a bit over the top. When I tried it, I couldn't finish the can. So be warned if you prefer a subtler taste. I think there is a light version of it, but I didn't tried it so I don't know how they compare. But the ginger taste is authentic, so bonus for that.
