Product reviews
Mixed spice is an ingredient that should be in your house at any given time. It offers so much to a massive variety of dishes. You can enjoy it on the most simple of dishes. I like to add it to a large home made corned beef hash to give a little bit of kick to an otherwise bland dish.
This is one of those perennials that I can't live without, I'm afraid. Its baking credentials are unchallenged, but I like to add it to a bowl of hot, steaming porridge, too, for an extra-special taste in the depths of winter. Just removing the lid and taking a deep breath of that fantastic aroma is a treat.
