I'm a huge fan of oatmeal, but not all oatmeals are the same. I love the slightly bigger size of Scott's Old Fashioned Oats. They give breakfast a different texture from traditional oatmeal.I usually switch between both versions of Scott's to keep breakfast from becoming boring. I make them with milk and then switch between toppings for even greater variety.
As a busy Mom, my breakfast is an important time of the day and nutrition is very important. I live in Italy and many breakfast options are not a good choice for me but Scotts Porage is just perfect in the morning with a cup of tea or coffee and I'm set until lunchtime. I enjoy the larger Oat size, it has added texture and flavor. A staple on my order list and in my cupboard ! Thanks to Scots Old Fashioned Porage Oats I can still have my favorite childhood breakfasts in Italy and keep running til lunchtime.
Scott's oats are one of the best that are on the market and I buy them often. This version has got old fashion in the name and it should be good old fashion if you ask me! They are very good and make lovely porridge. They are bigger in the size and big in the taste.
Scotts Old Fashioned Porage Oats are larger than the basic Scotts Porage Oats. Some people like these a lot more, some people less.
I think these do make a nice change to have once in a while, so your porridge won't taste and feel the same every time.
These oats are of an excellent quality and highly recommended by me.
