About Spitfire
Part of the Shepherd Neame family, Spitfire Ales are brewed in the iconic hop gardens of Kent, which surround the Faversham Brewery.
Spitfire's first Ale, The Amber Kentish Ale, was first brewed in 1990 to commemorate the Battle of Britain - a battle in the skies above Kent 50 years prior.
This beer is named after the legendary versatile aeroplane designed by RJ Mitchell which is a symbol of the spirit of that time.
