I used to buy Nuttalls Butter Mintoes when I lived in the UK and the bag of Waitrose ones that I am currently munching my way through is delicious! The price is good I think for the amount that you get and the minty/buttery flavour combo is perfectly balanced. It has been a lesson to me too, to remember: check out the Waitrose products as compared to just tapping in a brand name that is familiar to you.
I adore these Butter Mintoes! A taste of home. If only these boiled sweets were sold in North America.
This is the first time that I have tried Waitrose's Butter Mintoes. If you miss Nuttall's Mintoes, then these are for you! They are the perfect combination of cool mint and warm butter flavours. I keep some at home at at work. I'm not much of a candy person, but these really are addictive.
