This is absolutely delicious. It is chockablock full with rhubarb and ginger and has such a lovely flavour. I am in America and have not been able to find any decent rhubarb ginger jam so was thrilled when I came across this on the British corner shop.

Wilkin and sons rhubarb and ginger conserve is not going to be everyone's ideal taste but it is something that i have come to appreciate as i like rhubarb very much indeed and i simply adore conserve so with the addition of ginger it goes down very well on my favourite fresh baked scones or fresh crusty bread if i moan about anything sometimes the ginger pieces can be quite big giving a shock to the mouth but on the whole its very tasty

I received this as a substitute for the Waitrose rhubarb and ginger jam. The jam is nice and thick with real chunks of ginger. I think the rhubarb flavour could be a little stronger, but that could be just down to personal taste! It's perfect on toast, and sublime on scones with a blot of clotted cream! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
