I love these. Very, very difficult to find in the US, and so delicious. Kinda like a Flake, kinda like an Aero, but finer bubbles and a very delicate texture. Look on YouTube for the vintage commercial with the Dad's Army characters. So much fun.
I absolutely love Cadbury Chocolate, I really didn't think there was any possible way that they could top it. But then came the Wispa, I don't know whether there is something different than the regular recipe, but I really don't care as whatever they did it's just perfect. A beautifully wonderful smooth chocolate that's as smooth as silk, the bubbles are minute but create an exceptionally luxurious treat. I love mint Aero but the regular Aero has never been top of my list, although I wouldn't ever turn one down, but for me, the Cadbury Wispa is in a different league. The bars in the Multipack are a bit smaller than the regular bars, but then I think we are all used to manufactures shrinking them, I'd far rather they increased the price. I remember the Wispa when it first came out and it was bigger then the original bars we have today. But I'd have any size of Wispa rather than not have them at all. Highly recommended.
This chocolate bar is not available in the United States!!! Oh my God say it isnt so!And they say this country is free! Then why arent we free to buy this supremely wonderfully air pocket filled delight surely crafted by the Gods?!!! There are enough riots going on now, but there we should take to the streets of this great lands and DEMAND THAT WISPA BE MADE AVAILABLE HERE!!! Just kidding but we should really have it here! Lol
Very smooth chocolate. As others have mentioned the size of the bars was smaller than expected/remembered but that might not necessarily be a bad thing. I thought I'd have one every now and then and tried to hide them at the back of the cupboard but they were too delicious. Because of the lightness of the chocolate, you don't feel so guilty treating yourself to a Wispa rather than a standard bar of chocolate!
Slightly disappointed to find that this isn't a pack of full-sized bars but somewhere between fun-sized and full-sized. Despite this they still taste pretty good, I've always been a bit partial to a Wispa and find them to be a lot less sickly than an aero. Light, airy and chocolate and make less mess than a flake.
Cadbury Wispas are the best. I ordered these for a Christmas gift. The multipack has smaller bars than the single size. The chocolate is very light tasting, a lot like an Aero bar. Very mild and satisfying. It's Cadbury, so the chocolate is delicious.
Cadbury Wispa chocolate bars are too good for words. They are smooth, velvety, creamy consistency with a sensational bubbly inside. This melts so luxuriously in your mouth. The texture is simply perfect. And very light too. The silkiness of the chocolate will leave you wanting more. Ordering multiple packs is a must for me!
A great favourite of mine: the chocolate luxurious enveloping sensation it releases the moment I bite it is unique and the smell when opening the packet makes my mouth water in anticipation. A lingering for more as soon as the first one finishes that is its legacy, and an irresistible temptation.
I had forgotten how good a Wispa bar is, having not had it in so long. Compared to the less creamy chocolate in the US, a Cadburys bar is deluxe. It took me by surprise to see that these bars are very slightly smaller than the bars I could get in England from the general stores, but that's my fault for not thinking about doublechecking the size other than making sure that it wasn't tiny. It just meant stricter rationing to make them last longer, and even then it was the first product to be used up!
These Wispa bars are somewhere between an Aero and a Flake but without the mess! The chocolate has a lovely, smooth texture and the flavour itself is not too sweet or sickly. The concept is quite simple but the contrasting textures make this one of my all-time favourite chocolate bars. There is also a large range of other Wispa products available including hot chocolate and biscuits, which I would highly recommend for any Wispa fans out there!
Ok, it is hard to choose my favourite chocolate bar, but Cadbury Wispa has to be in the top three!! I was very excited to be able to order these on here. The chocolate is so good, and the little bubbles just add to the eating experience! This will be a permanent feature of my orders from British Corner Shop.
My children love these little bars. I always tuck these in their Christmas stockings. I too enjoy these light little bars. Light and airy whipped Cadbury chocolate coated with yet more chocolate smooth and silky. They are delicious and You can't keep quiet about a Wispa.
I love how this just melts so perfectly in your mouth. It is the most wonderful texture and flavor combination.
Chocolate can be made in many different ways, but there's something about a Wispa, taken out of the fridge, that just makes it better than most chocolates. It melts right in your mouth, feels creamy and light, definitely a satisfying taste. I prefer it to Aero, since a Wispa bar has smaller, more densely packed bubbles compared to the other.
MMmmm. Cadbury Wispa. I had almost forgotten about these. I believe Cadburys withdrew them but due to public demand brought them back.
The chocolate is slightly different than most of the Cadbury chocolate available but it does not disappoint. It has air pockets inside the chocolate bar ensuring that it is easily eaten and light and fluffy on the tongue.
Wispa's are bars of aerated chocolate, a bit like Aero's but much creamier. It's pure chocolate with a slightly bubbly inside and a smooth covering. They were a big thing in the eighties and I can understand the disappointment when they stopped making them. Now they're back they are as good as ever, if anything, more 'chocolately'.
This is a very solid bar for aerated chocolate, compared to an Aero you get much less air for your money. The bubbles are much smaller as well, increasing the amount of chocolate again. Both of these should be good things, but for me it's not that different from a block of Dairy Milk.
I absolutely love Cadbury Wispa. One of my favourites! Yummy Cadbury milk chocolate with tiny tiny bubbles throughout, which makes it somehow taste much nicer than most chocolates...yum..can't wait for my latest order to arrive! I never fail to get Wispa for every order i make from British Corner Shop.
I have been pleasantly surprised by Cadbury Wispa Chocolate bars. The retro packaging makes the product look quite simple, and you re not quite sure which ingredients are actually in it! However; the smooth consistency of the chocolate filling is just divine! I can see why they brought it back!
