essential Waitrose Indian Tonic Water is a refreshing bitter-sweet tasty drink, and the ideal mixer for a great G&T.
It has the original quinine added, which was originally used as a remedy for malaria for sailors coming home from the east, but nowadays this tonic water has a much lower quinine content and it’s consumed for its distinctive, bitter flavour.
It is delicious with a meal and it is perfect for refreshing cocktail drinks. This distinctive and unique drink will add a classic flavour to all your favourite cocktails.

One might think that tonic water is the same everywhere, so it doesn't matter where you buy it. However, even the same brand name tonic can taste very different in, say, France or Italy compared to the UK version, due to different sugar content etc. This tonic by Waitrose tastes like authentic British tonic water, and is perfect to mix with your favorite gin. A must have product.
