These Waitrose kidney beans come in a mild chilli sauce so they are ready to serve in a Mexican bean chilli sauce. Despite being marinated in the sauce they retain their shape and texture. I like to have them on standby, along with some tortilla crisps for a lazy weekend. If you'd prefer to make your own sauce, of course, check out the kidney beans in water also another from the Waitrose brand. I've tried these as well and buy no other kidney beans now. An excellent addition to your kitchen cupboard.
