Nestle Smarties have been around since back in 1882, making them an immovable part of British confectionary history. In their current format they come in a hexatube – a hexagonal tube containing the usual array of brightly coloured chocolate bites.
Nestle Smarties are particularly popular among children, and as well as being eaten straight from the tube, they also make a colourful addition to any home made cake.

Nestle smarties hexatube!! surely one of the best ever chocolate sweets produced by the chocolate gods!! refrigerated of course these tasty little beauties are not meant to be shared!! thankfully lots of tubes for everyone!! they have a fantastic crispy outer shell covering the delightful Nestles chocolate!! truly a sweet loved by everybody!! Smarties are a chocolate that I have recently started buying again due to the amount of 'use' you can get out of them.
They are great to eat as a chocolate treat, to pop on cakes and things or even as part of a larger home made selection box.
Their vibrant colours make them a kid's favourite.
