I love Ribena cordial from my childhood and now as an adult. It has no competition whatsoever. Ribena has an ageless rich or delicate taste, the secret is how much cordial you mix use and with what you like to use as a mixer. IE Water. Carbonated Water, Diet or Regular Bitter Lemon. Low Sugar and Regular Sugar Lemon Lime sodas. Even hot and cold black tea I havent tried that one yet! Etc etc! The only issues I have is the availability and the high cost. I've seen this drink swing from $3 to $4s per bottle to the prices of today. I havent tried the low sugar version of Ribena yet, so I'm here to purchase regular and low sugar versions of Ribena. I highly recommend this shop and products. Please DO NOT STOP stocking selling RINENA. Right now this is the only online shop I can find any flavor RIBENA available. Thank you.

I was devastated to find the taste is no longer the one of yesteryear! The delicious currant smell on opening the bottle is completely lost in the tasting due to those horrid artificial sweeteners! I had no idea they would come over so strongly, they definitely give an artificial flavour to the product that claims there are none added! why tamper with a product that already has a light version for people who do not want a sugar overload? Very disappointing buy that's gone straight in the bin.

The best thing from my childhood brings back a lot of memories. Best dilute juice ever and I have been slowly sharing it amongst Finnish relatives who are now swayed by its rich taste, and more recently in the colder weather I have been having it hot...takes it to a new level. This will always remain on my reorder list!

Ribena blackcurrant is a childhood favourite that I still enjoy to this day my family enjoy this product as well dependent on the time of year as to whether we drink it as a hot fruit drink or a cooling summer refreshment i always have a spare in the cupboard as it is something that we all enjoy very much

Ribena Blackcurrant Drink is an absolute childhood classic in the UK! Other brands don't come close to the intense flavour of this delicious drink. It might seem more expensive than other brands but it's such great quality that you don't use it as much. We also use it to make our own ice lollies just dilute, pour into molds, and freeze perfect for summer and full of Vitamin C too!. The packaging is great too There's a plastic ring pull under the lid so it's less likely to leak when being transported.

How disappointing, I am totally devastated. I remember drinking Ribena as a young boy and for many years afterwards. It was more expensive than a lot of other concentrated juices, but it was so easy to see why. The thick, deep red syrup pouring out of the bottle, diluted with water, then came that unmistakable taste packed with flavour, you could tell it was quality and packed full of all the goodness of Blackcurrants. My Nan had a soda Syphon and at the weekend we had it made with that, it was even more of a treat then. Blackcurrant has always been my flavour of choice, I never did like any other flavour of squash. I changed to Robinsons apple and Blackcurrant when that came out as it was a lot cheaper, I liked that too, despite it being totally different to Ribena. I bought a bottle of Ribena as a treat to bring back with me on my last trip, I was so excited to have some when I got home. I opened the top and it had the same delicious smell I remembered, One of those smells that you never forget. I can't begin to describe how disappointed I was, as it touched my tongue it seemed the same but as the flavour developed, it was definitely not the same and left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth that lingered. I never buy anything with artificial sweetener in it by choice. Ribena do a sugar free low sugar variety so I can't understand why they couldn't leave the original well alone to give customers the choice, even if it meant a slightly higher price, I would have bought it and I know there are thousands that would prefer the original. I will never buy it again, but good to see there are customers that do enjoy it still. I will stick to the other brand now.

My daughters absolute favourite from her childhood days in England. It is so hard to find anything even close to Ribena in the states. Black currant has such a unique flavour loved by many children. The concentrate is great to take with you and have it last. Great to send to University so they can dilute and have a taste of home. It lasts much longer than a regular squash drink.

5 starsDebra from United States on

I'm thrilled I can get Ribena sent to me here in the US. I love the taste. It is concentrated black currant juice. I mix it with plain water or sparkling water for a change. I even make some into ice cubes for a lolly treat. You can make it as strong or weak as you like and make just what you need. It ships extremely well. The bottle is plastic and the seal inside is strong. No worries about leakage.

5 starsMatthew from United States on

I've loved Ribena since I was a kid. However, they have now changed the recipe which replaced half the sugar with artificial sweeteners. It now tastes completely different and has a very chemically bitter aftertaste. Not at all pleasant. The producer could have chosen many alternative ways to deal with the UK sugar tax, unfortunately, the decision they've made leaves fans like me with no artificial sweetener free choice. So Ribena, as I've known and lived since I was a child, is gone forever. Be warned.

Ribena, a staple of every British child's diet. We're big squash fans and usually, Robinson's is our main drink but sometimes you just want the delicious taste of blackcurrants. You can't get blackcurrants here in the US and so we've been educating our US friends on this magnificent little berry. Delicious hot or cold.

5 starsKimberley from United States on

When I first visited the UK with my grape juice mad American 3 year old it was the closest thing I could find that she would drink. Six years later she couldn't care less about grape juice any more but Ribena, which fortunately I can get at a nearby specialist grocery store but is much less expensive here, remains a staple of our household. And I had forgotten how much I liked it too.

5 starsLaura from Italy on

Ribena was my favorite drink, when I was a child. My Mother would always buy this brand, she knew it was good for me and I loved it. A few years back I fell pregnant with my beautiful daughter. As many pregnant women know, woman have food problems and I cannot forget I could not even drink water. I was lucky to find a bottle of Ribena in a shop very far from where I live and so I was able to keep fluids down. I could not find Ribena for my children and me, but thanks to the British Corner Shop, my childhood memories came back and now I am able to give these memories to my children too.

5 starsEileen from Canada on

As a child we always had Ribena in the house, on cold days we would have it mixed with hot water. In the summer we had it chilled or made into home made ice lollies. The rich blackcurrant taste just can't be beat!. I like mine a little stronger and am pleased that I shall also be able to purchase it from your company at a better price. If you like black currants you should treat yourself to a bottle of Ribena.

What more can one say to a cordial that is still on the market since 1938!

Absolutely delicious, both cold or hot on a freezing rainy and dreary day!

My kids love putting Ribena in ice trays and making ice cubes with them. When we can get hold of the thin popsicle sticks that they use for lollipops, they put those in when it is halfway frozen and eat them like ice lollies.

5 starsNina from Japan on

A taste of my childhood that is readily accessible again via British Corner Shop! I admit that Ribena is a guilty pleasure of mine, it is a lovely squash drink that can be mixed to ones taste by adding less or more of the syrup.

I appreciate the fact that the manufacturers do not seem to have made any changes to the original recipe that I remember from many years ago!

5 starsThomas from Finland on

Ribena Blackcurrant is a really refreshing drink that will provide you with lots of important vitamins. While this is a drink that can be enjoyed year around, it is always a treat to have a glass of it on a hot summer day.

Also I view this as a healthier choice compared to other squash drinks.

5 starsRitchie from Netherlands on

A fantastic blackcurrant drink! Definitely beats the ready to drink version; maybe just because I like these drinks a little stronger..

Worth the price! Compared to Robinsons Apple & Blackcurrant I think this has a deeper, sweeter taste and it's a great drink to start the day with.

If you've not had it before; take the risk and order it!

5 starsBruna from Italy on

Here she is, the best squash/cordial on the market. In my opinion, nothing beats the flavour of Ribena, and no other kind is as nice as the original. The ready made kind tastes wishy washy, and I don't exaggerate with the quantity of Ribena that I use in my squash. It's fantastic with rum too.

5 starsLiam from Netherlands on

Ribena blackcurrant is a great squash/ cordial, made with real ingredients. You can really taste the difference with other supermarkets own brands or even some bigger brand. It is great for kids as substitute for fizzy drinks which can be very unhealthy and fake tasting. The best on the market for my family and I.

5 starsMaria Teresa from Italy on

This is the best drink ever. No one has ever made a cordial that has come anywhere near the quality or fruitfulness of Ribena. Diluted as a long drink for the children it was a special treat. Added neat to a tot of dark rum it is pure heaven. Timeless quality.

5 starsCiara from United States on

This is the thing I miss most from home, and it's so hard to find over in the US. It's amazing any way you make it, and everyone has different ways they enjoy it, I think the best way is ice cold. The best one out there, the others just are not as good.

5 starsRebecca from United States on

We love Ribena and life would definitely be a sadder place without it. The cheaper alternatives are nowhere near as good - this is certainly one of those products where 'brand name is best'. I also like that it's up to you how much syrup you put in a glass and therefore how much sugar you're getting. Cold, warm, or hot - wonderful!

5 starsPatrick from Greece on

Love it.

5 starsPeter from UK - England on

I grew up drinking Ribena and in my opinion it is still the best squash on the market today. Ribena has that rich syrup like quality, which stands it apart as a high quality drink when compared to some cheaper alternatives, which I think can sometimes taste a bit acerbic or manufactured. Ribena is the best!
