I really like rooibos (redbush) tea – it is naturally sweet, naturally caffeine free so it can be enjoyed in the evening as well, you can even add milk to it, plus it doesn't have diuretic properties like teas with caffeine. I especially like vanilla rooibos, but I usually buy loose leaf tea where you can actually see bits of vanilla, not just taste them.
I knew this would not (and could not) be as good, but I must say I am really disappointed. The tea itself is weak, you have to steep it for a really long time and the vanilla taste/aroma is incredibly artificial, like cheap vanilla extracts. In fact, the smell is totally off-putting.
Tea bags are convenient and there are some good rooibos tea bags out there (try Tick Tock Rooibos Tea), but this is most definitely not one of them.
