I simply love this cereal, as another reviewer mentioned, it may not be the healthiest as I certainly eat more than the recommended serving size! Living in the USA, it certainly has a different better taste than the U.S options which I find to taste very bland. Healthy doesn't always have to be bland and Alpen proves it.

Being a Muesli fan I admit to having tried lots a lots of different types of muesli over the years some good some not so good and time after time after time I come back to Alpen original large!! Here's how it goes bowl of Alpen lashings of milk walk the dog come home to a bowl of the most delicious breakfast food you could possibly have to start the day!! soft creamy oats chopped dried fruit they all go so very well together that's why its so tasty

Nothing can compare with Alpen. I have tried everything on the market here in Italy and even Kelloggs brand which we can now get here but they are full of over crunchy pieces and chocolate which in my opinion are not muesli ingredients. Nothing can beat a bowl of Alpen for breakfast or brunch. It takes me back in time as the flavour hasn't changed and I savour every moment of my bowl of healthy Alpen. Thank you, Alpen for existing!

Alpen cereal is a super breakfast in a bowl, it contains so many tasty ingredients that means a different taste in every mouthful.
It is marketed as a healthy cereal but I am afraid this is not the case for me as I usually eat a second bowl about an hour later.
I generally can eat my way through a large box in a week.
On the very rare occasion that sleep eludes me I have been known to get up for a bowl of Alpen.

When Alpen first came out it was a lot different than it is now. I remember it was the best breakfast cereal, full of visible nuts and fruit (apple, honey, hazelnuts and wheat, etc.) Now it just reminds me of sawdust! Many supermarket brands which are half the price are much better than Alpen.

My grown-up children all eat this and love it. Nothing compares with it really. Instead of buying the smaller box I always get this size and divide it into two or three lots and give it to them to take home. The price is good for the amount you get.
I do find that the sugar tends to accumulate at the bottom and make it too sweet - so remember to shake it now and again.

My husband has tried every type of muesli available here in France, but nothing ever replaces Alpen Original for him, so thanks BSC for making this product available for him.
Alpen is also a taste of back home to start the day with, and now I have got my daughter eating it too.
