I really liked this and at the same time I did not like it! Growing up had something similar with elbow macaroni and expected this to be the same. The macaroni was tiny, mushy rings like spaghettios but a lot smaller. Mostly liquid. After having a little and liking the taste I cooked some elbow macaroni and added quite a lot to the can. Made enough for a few desserts! And I have bought again.

This was a weird one. Not bad, but not what I expected. I thought it would be like elbow macaroni in a thick set pudding, kind of like American rice pudding but with macaroni. Instead, it's spaghettios style ring pasta in a thin vanilla pudding. The consistency was very much like a soup rather than a pudding or a custard.

Ambrosia macaroni is a lovely creamy dessert, I used to enjoy this very much as a child. It is undoubtedly the most delicous way to enjoy macaroni in my opinion.
I also found that young children, or at least mine always enjoyed this dessert from a young age. The ultimate comfort food and well worth buying.
