I had high hopes for Ben's Original Express Chinese Style Rice, as I love the other varieties of Ben's that I have tried. This flavour is good, but it doesn't taste like Asian style rice. The rice itself is fluffy, the same quality as Ben's plain rice, but next time I will purchase the plain rice and add my own sauce and spice for a true Chinese flavoured dish.

I don't know about others but I hate cooking rice from scratch as 9 out 10 times it goes stodgy. I often buy this Uncle Ben's express rice and other flavours too. It is so easy to cook as you slit the top of the pouch and pop it in the microwave for a few minutes and ding it's cooked to perfection.
The flavours are nice and make a great addition to any meal.
