This gravy is about the best you can get. I have used it frequentlu, gives a great taste to your dish and is so easy to use , just disolve water in the granules and add it to the dish. I would recomment it to everyone The gravy taste is so authentic, other brands are very salty, this one is good

If you are English living in the US there are some kitchen must haves that make food better for the enjoying here. Bisto gravy is very much one of these. Yes , it is a traditional gravy from home but it tastes so good, is easy to make and of course is a great price to stock up on. Roast dinners here just would not be the same without Bisto gravy. It is simply a great and tasty reminder of home.

Bisto gravy granules are the stuff of legend! Perfect gravy every time. All you need to do is add boiling water to a few heaped spoonfuls of gravy granules, stir, and that's it. You can make the gravy as thick or as thin as you like by adding more gravy granules or more water etc. Perfect beefy gravy that goes well with many meat based dishes, a little too beefy in taste to go with chicken dishes in my opinion, but that's easily solved by just buying a tub of Bisto chicken, or even turkey, gravy granules. It's also really easy to jazz your beef gravy up by adding the juices from your roast, a spoonful or two of redcurrant jelly or something similar, a handful of fresh herbs etc. Bisto gravy granules also work well as a thickener for stews and casseroles, cottage pie etc. A store cupboard staple that you really shouldn't be without.

It was always going to be 5 stars, wasn't it? It's Bisto. I'm not one for flag waving but this knocks the socks off any gravy anywhere in the world. Thickness adaptable to your taste, incredibly easy to prepare, and full of flavour be it on your Sunday lunch or your plate of chips I didn't spend three years at uni in the north for nothing Mom, I found chips and gravy. Top quality product.

What more can I say, it BISTO!!! Well, I consider myself a fairly good cook, the granules to make the sauce add the best flavour and are great for thickening up any stew. 5 stars of course Its Bisto! There is nothng you can buy in Slovakia like this. Easy to make even my Wife can make it! And is the topping to any roast dinner. This is my favourite flavour, they also do Chicken and Vegetarian. It is amazing with vegetables and really any type of meat, its perfect with toad in the hole. Our Slovak relatives are not too keen on it but hey it means there is more for us!

OMG! Here is a product that definitely does not need another review, but this is so good and tasty. You have to try it. I consider myself a decent cook, but making gravy or a sauce just is not my thing. While we were watching the oumpht episode of 'Eat well for less', I noticed that families were having their Sunday roast or their Yorkshire pudding, but the gravy always came from somewhere else. So, during my last session at the British Corner Shop, I set out to discover the secret and found BISTO. Read the reviews and ordered a box of almost every flavour. I started with this one and I was instantly sold. I do not understand why this product is not available in shops in Belgium our loss. I will add reviews as I go through the different flavours. Britain's favourite gravy! That says it all really. Incredibly easy to make perfect gravy with these granules, the taste is sublime and complements any roast dinner, pie and mash, a plate of chips or sausages and onions! I always like to have a can of Bid to gravy . It can really help to add a richness to any meat gravy. I remembered this gravy growing up in England missed it, I can make great gravy but why when this is so easy to make also the price for a 1 pound box is cheap. Save veggie stock and add Bisto gravy mix to it bring to a boil and presto delish gravy. I sometimes add saute onions.

This it the most wonderful product I have discovered in a long time. It is the easiest way to make a delicious homemade gravy without the need of cooking or putting kitchen appliances in the middle. All of you need is boiling water and a pot of bisto gravy granules. Additionally, you can prepare the sauce to your liking by adding more granules if you want to make it thicker. If you havent got time to make your own gravy then this is an excellent substitute. I order it every time I place an order with British Corner Shop. It mixes up so easily with just boiling water and I never get lumps. Its rich and meaty without being too salty. If you add it to caramelized onions it makes a lovely rich onion gravy.

I used to use this quite a lot. Its main advantage is, of course, convenience. But after a while my family got a bit tired of it, as the nostalgia for real gravy slowly returned.
I might add that I don't do the cooking any more, they cook for themselves, and they have returned to the real thing.

Aaahhh Bisto! I do not know where I would be without this in my cupboard. It truly is the easiest thing to make gravy. I always have to have a stock of it in the cupboard and my US friends are always pretty wow'ed by it as you can not buy anything like it here in the US. To avoid lumpy bisto dissolve the granules in a little bit of cold water first before adding the hot water. Stops all lumps.

It's strange to think that once upon a time housewives used to make gravy themselves, using just the meat juices and so on. It must have made such a difference when Bisto was invented! You simply add the granules to your meat juices and water to make up a delicious smooth gravy. It couldn't be easier.

Like a true Northerner I find that after a night out you can't beat a portion of chips, cheese and gravy.
While I don't recommend coming in drunk, flicking the oven on and making it - there certainly is nothing better than making up a batch using Bisto gravy granules. The original (beef) ones are my favourite as they're slightly richer and they give more of a warmth.

Bisto Gravy; what can you say that has not been said before? Quite a lot really.
There are several ways to really enhance the taste slightly. One of them that I have tried and really enjoyed is to add a splash of vinegar to the gravy and stir well. It just gives it an extra bit of flavour.
A word of warning though; don't go overboard with the vinegar, just add a little then taste it.
Instead of vinegar you could try a splash of Worcestershire Sauce, especially to cottage pies.

Unlike cheaper alternatives, Bisto gravy granules dissolves completely so you never have lumpy gravy. You can add different ratios of powder to water depending on how thick you like your gravy. Beef flavour seems to go perfectly with most meals but you can also buy different ones such as turkey or vegetable which are just as good! Top quality tasty gravy.
