I was missing a good flavoured curry sauce option as in the US they don't seem to have the same appreciation as us brits. I generally love all things Bisto so thought I would give this a try as it's a simple mix much like the gravy ones. The flavour is ok, not that strong or spicy so I felt it was certainly lacking. I would not buy this again as I have found a curry sauce mix that is near identical to that in the UK now.

A visit to the chippy for a portion of chips and curry sauce is a tradition that is loved by many back home in the UK and with Bisto chip shop curry sauce they help you go some way to recreate that!! As with Bisto it is very easy to prepare just add the amount of water you like to make the sauce to the consistency that you like then you have to decide do you tip the sauce over your chips or savour it slowly and dip the chips individually

Very nice. It's very easy to prepare just add your boiling water and you're good to go. A nicely sized product as well, you'll get plenty of portions out of one tub. As for flavour, it's pretty good not the best chip shop sauce I've ever had but close enough to the real thing to give someone living away from home a nice little treat! Good product.

I was really missing being able to have chips and curry sauce, while in the States, so purchased this in the hopes of it hitting the spot and it surely did! Even my husband enjoyed it! The consistency is great, just add some water and you're good to go! It's definitely not the perfect chip shop curry sauce, but its pretty darn close!

I suppose it is typically British to have curry sauce on your chips, but we all love it. And this is as near to the real thing as you could possibly get. It brings back happy memories of coming out of the pub, then buying chips and curry sauce for the walk home. A great product.

This curry sauce is always stocked in my cupboard not only is it delicious on chips which is mainly what we use it for just mix to the desired consistency but also a quick fix sauce for a chicken curry with rice when time is of the essence.

Another great product from Bisto. No fish and chip shops anywhere near me here in Finland so this helps me make my home cooked stuff all the more authentic.

If this doesn't zap you straight back to your local chippy, then nothing will. I basically inhaled my chips when they were covered in this heavenly sauce and can't wait till I can have it again. It's so authentic and far tastier than I could have hoped. I really missed chips and curry sauce, but now, I don't have to. Happy days.

For someone who does not have access to chip shop curry sauce, this is the next best thing. Vary the water amount to get desired thickness. Mild in flavour, just salty enough. Makes me feel like being home. Try it with cheesy chips too, you can thank me later! Thank you!

Bisto gravies and sauces are tradition and a reliable standby. I love Chips with a bit of curry sauce, but must say this left me a bit disappointed. The curry flavour is a little lacking and the consistency is quite strange, to make it thick enough I use less water then directed and even when concentrated the flavour of curry is still not strong, but a bit salty.

My partner is British and is a fan of curry sauces, he has fond memories of nights down the chippy buying chips with curry sauce. So I have to say Bisto chip shop curry sauce delivers in the sense that it does what it says on the tin. I do not find the taste authentic enough and a bit cheap in my opinion.

Bisto Chip Shop Curry Sauce is a rather unusual idea for us here in Norway. We're just used to ketchup as an accompaniment to chips. As it happens it is a very good idea - I only wish that the curry flavour were just a little bit stronger. The consistency is perfect.
