Love Sarsons Malt vinegar. Never seen it outside of the UK. This bottle is NOT refillable though which is a shame. Never mind, We will order a new one anyway.

Great product. Life is a quite empty without Sarson's Malt Vinegar. In Finland, we have only a few places who sell this product and it's always sold out. And local shops have 10 different vinegars but not malt vinegar!!. So it's great that you have that jolly good product.

I have used this before and kept the bottle for storing other vinegar as I will with this one once empty. It works well for the authentic taste and while I can buy malt in the US where I live, this bottle design makes using and reuse easier. It's a good product and one you should find able to help to create the authentic taste of fish and chips, etc.

Nothing compares to Sarsons malt vinegar. Fish and chips are just not the same without Sarsons. Now love it or hate it, one of my favourites is a bread and butter chip butty with a sprinkle of salt and a couple of dashes of Sarsons. In fact, thanks to BCS, that's what I'm going to make right now!

Although my favourite vinegar is apple cider vinegar, sometimes that just doesn't cut it for certain foods.

Take fish and chips for example. I love chips, but ketchup just doesn't do it for me. You need the real old fashioned Sarson's vinegar here. As they say , "don't say vinegar, say Sarsons"!

I got a big bottle last time and have been very pleased with it. However, I'm going to get this one next time as we use so little of it, and this one has the plus that you can sprinkle from the bottle.

I use balsamic on salads so I tend to use this on chips, which is a rare treat.

Try it on cabbage, it's great.

Sarsons Malt Vinegar is a deep brown colour and has a rich smell of fine Vinegar. It is strong enough to enjoy on the strongest of fish.

These bottles are great because of the way the vinegar drips out instead of pouring out meaning you do not over do the amount of vinegar applied to any meal.

Whilst I can buy every type of fruit or wine vinegar you can think of here in the Netherlands, a good malt vinegar is nowhere to be seen. For me this is the only vinegar you can use on chips and in these bottles reminds me of pub lunches and greasy spoons, both of which I sorely miss.

It is the name for us on this one- Sarsons is the best vinegar you can buy. It is perfect on chips and very easy to use, thanks to clever bottle. I am sure next time will order a big bottle to last us all summer with nice salads and chips.

A tangy vinegar where a little goes a long way. The bottle has an easy to seal flip lid and the vinegar dispenses in a controlled manner. Definitely an item to purchase as chips just aren't the same without it. Also, I suggest you try adding it to dressings for salad or on its own to lettuce leaves to give it a bit of extra 'oomph'

You just can't quite beat a splash of this on chips (and I've tried numerous other vinegars but it's just not the same).

I like these bottles because they're practical and have a special top so you can shake away without drowning your chips. I usually buy a big container from time to time and use it to refill this smaller bottle.
