The Cadburys Curly Wurly is a great chocolate snack for kids and grown-ups alike. This classic has been around since 1971, but for those of you who aren’t familiar, just imagine a caramel ladder which has been covered in delicious Cadburys Milk Chocolate.
The British public showed their long standing appreciation of the Curly Wurly when it was voted the most popular chocolate bar still in production in 2004.
Let’s hope that it's still around in another 40 years!

This candy bar wasn't the best-tasting thing I've Tried, the caramel was far too hard to chew. When I mean by hard to chew, I mean you have to keep chewing and chewing nonstop. Its like gum you gotta keep chewing. The chocolate on it is yummy but other than that the caramel is just like caramel candies here in America. Which is hard fo chew cause you gotta keep chewing it like gum. But if you do love this candy, by all means, get it.
Me and my husband loved this. Chewy caramel and nice tasting chocolate. It is very similar to Swedish Dumle lollipops. I think the size is just right, not too big and not too small. Because of its shape, it seems to be more sensitive to being crushed. Ours was a partly crushed but I didn't mind that at all. I will buy again, it was a nice treat without being sickly sweet.
I have been so excited to try this but I was disappointed very quickly. Honestly, the only thing I like about this chocolate bar is the way it looks. When I bit into it, the caramel overpowered the chocolate and that's fine as long as the caramel is good, but in this case, it was not. I am very disappointed in the Curly Wurly, especially since it is produced by Cadbury.
Is there anything better than a bit of chocolate and caramel? Curly Wurlys are the perfect treat for chocolate lovers who want a little chew in their bars. The gorgeous lattice presentation makes it easy to pull off the perfect sized bits that melt in your mouth in ooey, gooey, caramel goodness. Nothing else is quite like it. And of course it's from Cadbury, so you know it is quality! Definitely recommend adding one of these babies to your next order!
I love Curly Wurly, it is one of my favourite British chocolate bar. It is so simple yet so tasty, it is composed of only two ingredients, chocolate and caramel. I like to keep mine in the fridge before use so the chocolate slowly melts in my mouth, which is simply divine.
Brilliantly fun chocolate bar. No other like it that I've ever found. The forming is great if you want to break off bits at a time, however large or small. The caramel is the perfect amount of chewy and soft, and the chocolate coating is just thick enough but not to thick.
These are quite literally my favourite sweet ever.
I travel an hour from my home every few months and buy a case at an import shop. They now know me on sight.
This bar is essentially in the shape of a webbed lattice. It is made of a milky, mildly sweet caramel covered in a creamy light coating of chocolate. The caramel is never hard and always melts perfectly on the tongue. It is also not overly sticky or sickly sweet. The chocolate complements the caramel perfectly. I recommend buying these in bulk. They are like nothing made in the states, and are addictive.
For a real treat, get some good quality biscuits to go with them and enjoy as a bedtime snack. I enjoy mine with a good cup of Barry's Irish Gold Tea. Enjoy!
