The condensed mushroom soup is an absolute must have cupboard stand by in my opinion. If I'm going to use it as a soup, I like to thin it down with the water that I've cooked my vegetables in, that way it's even more flavoursome and nutritious. Mostly though, I like to use this soup as a base for a sauce to bring together other dishes. It's particularly nice in a chicken friccase and beef stroganoff.
This soup ends up in my grocery cart on a regular basis. It is a nice tasty soup with plenty of mushrooms, I prefer my soup a little thicker so reduce the water that is called for. I also use Campbells Mushroom Soup in recipes, especially cooked left over chicken, the soup becomes a sauce served over noodles or rice. A fast easy dinner with little clean up.
Campbells Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup is a good tasting creamy mushroom soup. The advantage with a condensed soup is that it takes less space and is lighter to transport.
The downside, on the other hand, is that you will need to have water available in order to prepare it.
An absolute classic, Campbell's condensed is great either as a soup with a bit of water added, or as a cooking sauce. I often use it with chicken dishes, the mushroom is perfect for that. They are quite thick, so I thin them down with a bit of water if I'm having them as a soup.
