I cook with this product on a regular basis. One of my favourite recipes is for rich mans shortbread. On top of your shortbread you make a toffee using the condensed milk, when it is set you pour melted Cadbury chocolate over the top and refrigerate until set, cut into squares and enjoy.

I think I've only ever seen this brand of condensed milk, so I can't compare it to other brands. This is another of the many products which are very difficult to find abroad.
When I was a child my mother used to give us tinned peaches with condensed milk every Sunday. The best part was the delicious mix of milky fruit juice left in the plate after the fruit had been eaten.
I recently discovered that on their website Carnation have published some interesting recipes which require condensed milk, such as fudge, chocolate cake, toffee puddings and cookies. They sound so delicious I honestly can't wait to try them.
