Bourbon cream biscuits are as traditional as the custard cream biscuits in the UK. Depending on the brand some will give you more of the chocolate cream taste than others. I personally enjoy these as they taste great on their own but more so dunked in a cuppa. If you are looking for a bargain brand then these are great to stock up on and enjoy.

Without a doubt the very best biscuit that the Lord God Almighty has invented and I dare anyone to open the packet and eat just one as they are delicious, some things stay with us from childhood for me the bourbon biscuit is one of them, I like them so much I don't even need to dunk them in my coffee I will eat them anyway!! sorry, must dash just made the coffee!!

I love chocolate, but I'm not really a lover of Chocolate flavoured products at all. I remember this brand as a child. Crawfords make a large range of quality biscuits, I had no idea that they have been in the business for over 200 years. Sometime, just like Ian another reviewer like to pull the biscuit apart to enjoy the lovely chocolatey filling, it's wonderful. Other times I just dunk them into a cup of hot tea and enjoy the beautiful flavour of these bourbons. In the UK, we used to always have the large tin, I always went for the bourbons, then custard creams then the pink wafer. You really can't beat them, not overly sweet, just right to compliment the filling perfectly. They're crisp without being hard, great at any time with or without a cup of hot tea.

These were really good! I know that Brits value their cookies and tea time a lot, so I tried to enjoy these with some tea as well and what can I say.. These were one of the best British cookies I've ever had and I'm not even a big fan of chocolate! They were very crunchy, but not crumbly, not too sweet and the cream in between the cookies were great. You can truly feel something special as if it was hidden bourbon! I liked these much more than the custard creams.

Rich chocolate and cream make these a delectable tea time treat. These biscuits are not overly sweet and go great with a cup of tea. These are a staple in all of my orders and all my friends love them too.

As a child, these were always a favorite of mine! I then shared these with my children who loved them equally as much. Ordering for the first time here I was worried they may not reach me in perfect condition but British Corner Shop did not disappoint! Currently one of my biggest pregnancy cravings so it's such a joy to finally get my hands on them. Thank you so so much!

Crawfords Bourbon Creams are a perfect accompaniment during afternoon tea. Whenever I am offered a plate of biscuits or a tin of tasty biscuits, I can't pass these up. My tastebuds tend to gravitate towards the creamy chocolate fondant centre sandwiched between two chocolate flavoured biscuits. I've loved these sweet treats since my childhood and I'll never get tired of them.

This product from brand Crawfords is a classic in its own right. The chocolate flavoured biscuits have a slightly malty taste and pair very well with the chocolate cream sandwiched between them. The chocolate cream tastes good and is not overly sweet. There are no sugar sprinkles atop the biscuits, which are otherwise found in Bourbon biscuits manufactured by some of the other brands. Their absence, however, is not a flaw. These biscuits are also good for dunking in a cup of hot cappuccino. Overall, this product is worth the purchase.

I remember Crawford's Bourbon Creams when they were in a package with plain biscuits and jammy filled cream biscuits. The chocolate taste is not too strong or cocoa tasting. They have a nice smooth taste and are perfect with a cup or pot of tea. They also hold up well in the heat. One of my favorites from Crawford's and just as I remember.

Crawford's biscuits are always good, and these chocolate bourbons are no different! Wonderfully chocolaty and creamy, chocolate bourbons are perfect for a snack in the evening when you're settled down to watch some telly. These are also great for packing into lunch, and it's always handy to have a few in your bag in case you get a bit peckish on the job. The two biscuits are crunchy and the chocolate cream filling is great too!

The taste of the chocolate sandwiched between scrumptious biscuits melting in a cup of milk, coffee or tea is truly incomparable, not to mention scooping up the last mushy chocolaty crumbs from the bottom of the mug. A delight for young, and older, alike. A must in every biscuit cupboard.

When we lived in UK every house I went to had these biscuits in their tin.This is something so great as a brand.the chocolate cream in the middle is delicious and very very tasty.I higly recommend them any time of the day.Crawfords Bourbon Creams are very good.

I absolutely love these cookies. They are the perfect size, and the perfect crunchiness so that you can dunk them in your tea. My friends and I have always been impressed with the Crawfords biscuits since we first tried them. An excellent choice for any tea table it's also very convenient to keep some tucked in a cupboard for an impromptu tea.

A favourite in almost every household, together with Custard Creams. Crawfords Bourbon Creams are crisp, tasty and the filling is just creamy enough. Delicious dunked, especially in cocoa or hot chocolate, excellent value for money. A biscuit barrel must. I always thought the name Bourbon came from the vanilla used to flavour them but my husband swears he can taste a slight hint of bourbon whisky in the cream filling. Who knows?

Crawfords bourbon creams are my favourite biscuits above all others brands. They are not as dry and floury as others and absorb tea well to allow dunking. They are nice classic biscuits with a good chocolaty flavour. They are best with cup of black tea or sweet snack during the day. Absolutely yummy.

From early childhood right up to the present day I still love these delicious chocolate biscuits with the generous filling in the middle, it is incredibly easy to eat more of these than you actually meant to. The crispy slightly hard biscuit compliments the filling perfectly to create a lovely chocolate sensation in your mouth.

It's probably just me but I remembered Bourbon biscuits as having a stronger chocolate flavour. They actually taste more of cocoa, the biscuit is cocoa flavoured and you can't really taste chocolate in the cream filling either. Not that they aren't nice, I love them just the same. A great classic. The biscuit is crisp and light and the cream in the middle is more than enough!

My favourite biscuits. Beautiful rich crunchy chocolate on the outside with a lush smooth chocolate cream filling.

These go great with a nice cup of British tea. I recommend these to anyone who hasn't tried them yet. Especially anyone from overseas!

Be careful though because once you have one you can't stop!

There is always a debate among my family about which biscuit is best, and I always stand by the argument that it is Bourbon biscuits that blow away the competition. not too fancy or expensive, but delivering a great chocolaty taste with plenty in the packet to carry on eating for as long as you like.

Wowsers. BCS stock Bourbon Creams, that is fantastic.

Not since my childhood had I had the pleasure of devouring these rectangular shaped biscuits, until now.

My old routine which included carefully opening the biscuit so the two biscuit parts that make up one biscuit come apart. Then you can lick the cream off one side. Once that is done you have two gloriously tasting chocolate flavoured biscuits to crunch through.

A classic biscuit with an old school taste.

I think these were the original chocoholic's biscuit, two dark chocolate flavoured biscuits with a layer of chocolate cream in the middle. They're not the most adventurous of biscuits but they've been around for years for a reason. Too moreish to just eat one, most of the packet will have disappeared before you notice.

I'd forgotten just how good these biscuits are - it's been years since I last lived in the UK - but now can buy them from BCS my cup of tea seems a real treat again. Sheer indulgence for a chocoholic - crunchy biscuit on the outside and smooth chocolate cream in the middle - utterly delicious! Being able to order them from BCS, rather than having to lug them back in my (always overweight) luggage on my infrequent trips to UK has made my day.

I bought 2 packets of these Bourbon biscuits and should of ordered more as they are delicious. The Crawfords brand is very good and the taste was just as I remembered them. 2 layers of chocolate flavoured crisp biscuit with chocolate fondant cream in the middle. Very tasty with tea or coffee mid morning or afternoon tea. Highly recommend and will be ordering more.
