Very disappointed as I am sure at some time they have changed the recipe. I used to love this soup years ago in England especially in the cold winter and my mother would use this as a top up in her lamb stew. It was very tasty then and I was really looking forward to my dish of soup. However with the first spoonful I found very little flavour and no things like the soup from years ago. What a pity

This is not for everyone. It has kind of a fatty taste in your mouth. I have tried it in England and liked it, but I'm not a fan of this particular can. May be it is too dense, or too fat, but I couldn't make myself like it. It was disappointing, but it is just my personal opinion. The ingredients are good and the brand a guarantee.

Heinz soups are the best and I find them so hard to get in Holland so I was so happy to register on British Corner shop and find all the things that I love. Heinz Oxtail soup is so great it's a great winter warmer but also a good soup when you are feeling ill. I love having a thick piece of toast with this soup.

I recently purchased Heinz oxtail soup from you and found it to be terrific. My son is a chef and has never been a fan of canned soup, he tried mine and asked if he might open one for himself, high praise indeed. He had a chuckle when I admitted that I was unsure what ox tail actually is and that as a child my mum would tell us that it was special beef soup. Ah those happy memories.

A warming filling tasty soup that makes you feel all cosy.
Although the meaty chunks are tiny and there aren't many of them, Heinz oxtail soup tastes very meaty. Great with fresh bread rolls or toast it's a perfect meal in a can.
When I run out I consider trying to make my own oxtail soup, but fear being disappointed that it won't taste like the Heinz version.

Tasty and warming soup, I'd say this is the ultimate comfort lunch or supper on a cold day. Beefy taste but not a 'stock cube' taste, and slightly peppery. I don't know what real oxtail soup tastes like as I've never made it but whatever they've made this one with, it's lovely. One tin is plenty for two as always with Heinz soups. Good price too.

This is probably one of the most popular varieties of Heinz soup, and for a good reason. It's a real heart warmer on a cold winter's day! Beefy and spicy, it has a unique taste (which, by the way, has nothing at all to do with real oxtail!) If someone out there has never tried Heinz soups this would be the one to start with.

Heinz soups are the creamiest and tastiest on the market. The broth has rich meat flavours and it has very good quality pieces of meat and oxtail. I can have a can by myself on a cold day with some toast or warm bread and butter to dip in. It is the ultimate comfort food!
