One of my big favourites! I'm getting used to having it in my kitchen now, so I shall have to order it regularly from now on.
Lovely chunks of cauliflower, gherkin and onion in a sharp, tangy mustard sauce make a delicious pickle suitable to accompany both cold meats and salads and hot dishes such as sausages, meat pies and pasties.
Heinz Piccalilli is a great favourite and I always ensure that I have a good stock in the larder.
I find this a bit more tangy than Haywards, so I like it just a tiny bit less. Depends on your taste though. It's still excellent with cheese and meats. Of course, the best piccalilli comes from my home town and it's not on here (not naming names). But this is a tasty substitute.
Cheese on crackers with pickle is my favourite British food item ever. I can't believe I managed to eat so much cheese without pickle or relish before! As Christmas is coming, I am so looking forward to the delicious cheese board with different types of pickles. Heinz piccalilli pickle is a recurring guest and will be here this year too!
The age old question is, which do you prefer, Heinz or Haywards Piccalilli. Well, for me it has to be Heinz. It is colourful, tangy and crunchy meaning it is welcome on most dishes at any time of day.
I really like this on cheese on toast and also on sandwiches.
Heinz Piccalilli is the perfect Addition to Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. The slightly sharp tangy flavour and the mixture of vegetables go together very well.
If you have never tried it i would recommend that you do i am sure you will be impressed. I am looking forward to my next delivery of Heinz Piccalilli.
