These Heinz, reduced sugar, baked beans are a good alternative to the original. They have the familiar taste, but taste a lot less sweet in the sauce and a difference can be noted. Even though they reduced sugar they are still enjoyable on toast, or with a breakfast or as a side dish as part of a larger meal.

Must admit to being dubious in buying reduced sugar items as my previous experience of reduced suger is not held in high regard!! but i needent have worried as Heinz reduced sugar baked beans are full of the usual flavour with the wonderful little orange gems covered in a tremendous tomato sauce i gave them to our family without telling them and NOBODY realised the difference haha

Still the excellent beans. I got this because I'm trying to become more conscious of how much added sugar I eat. I was worried that there would be a significant loss of flavor but these are still surprisingly great. Just head them for breakfast on toast, and not sure I could distinguish these from the regular Heinz Beans. Will become my new staple. Also, arrived quickly and was very well packed.

Heinz Reduced Sugar and Salt Baked Beans are just as tasty as their less healthy counterparts. The flavour is not reduced. As to their advantage of being low calorie - they are in fact lower in calories than the Weight Watchers baked beans! I really enjoy these beans with a clean conscience.

A healthier alternative to the standard Heinz Beanz.
I personally find that the reduced salt is slightly noticeable, but it doesn't reduce my enjoyment of the product. The consistency of the sauce and texture of the beans are all identical to the original.
Definitely great to know there's a bit less salt in it, and a few calories saved for those watching their waistlines.

As with all Heinz products these baked beans taste great. They are even easier to enjoy knowing that they are reduced in sugar and salt. The reduction in these 'ingredients' does not seem to affect the great taste of one of Heinz's flagship products. A healthier alternative to an already great product.
