I have missed this so so much. The flavor is a blast from the past. The taste, warmth and comfort of a bowl or ready brek here in Sweden in the cold is more than words can say. A tea spoon of golden syrup and the day can't be anything but good. I had trouble getting the golden syrup first so I added sugar and some banana slices . So so good.

Always remember as a kid being so disapointed having eaten ready brek for breakfast i did not get the orange line around my body like the child on tv!! thats the licence of tv i suppose!! Ready brek is a great start to the day for both adults and kids alike , nice and creamy!! topped with some fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey!! nice steaming hot bowl of goodness

Porridge is by far the best way to start the day! Not only it is healthier than breakfast cereals, but it will also keep you feel fuller for longer! Ready break oats are very easy and fast to make, and I recommend adding some honey, cinnamon, and fresh fruit if you have a sweet tooth like me!

No matter how old I get I will forever love Ready Brek. The level of excitement when I found it on this site and that it could be shipped to me and then when it arrived and I could make my first bowl would rival any child at Christmas. The texture is amazing and the fact that you control what that texture is with how much milk you include was always a winner for me. That and the fact you can switch up the taste so easily with what milk or additional ingredients you add. There are literally no negatives. It's super easy, super quick, and super delicious.

Another favourite from growing up in England. It is particularly nice with fresh honey mixed in. I remember fondly the butter flavoured ReadyBrek from the 1970s... It definitely has a much smoother consistency than regular porridge oats... the thing that is most surprising is that is does actually fill you up and gives you plenty of energy to start the day...

So pleased to have found this while shopping for my first order through British Corner Shop! It tasted exactly as it did when I was a kid, I have not had this in possible 2530 years so it was quite the blast from the past. Arrived in perfect condition. Tried this morning and it is bitterly cold here in Central USA and I swear I had a lovely orange glow around me, just like it did back in England when I was a kid getting ready for school! Highly recommend this to anyone who needs a good jolt of warmth in cold weather. I added sugar to mine just like we did as kids and the aroma took me right back to the U.K!

There's just something about Ready Brek that tastes so much better than porridge! Living in Canada its great to have a hot breakfast cereal that's quick and easy to make and not full of sugar and other nasty additives like most cereals here! If the children want it sweeter we add in some maple syrup or a few chocolate chips.

We live in Chicago and moved here when the kids were 6 and 8. I was pretty shocked by the cereal offerings and I can't be that Mum that cooks eggs, bacon and pancakes that the movies tell me I should be doing living here. I do my best with 'better' cereals like Weetabix which I can find pretty easily and then regular porridge in the winter which if I am honest is a pain to make... The last time I bought Ready Brek online it cost me around $10.00 and took ages to arrive. Delighted that I can give the kids Ready Brek via British Corner Shop because they love it and I love the fact that it takes around 2 minutes to make and I know they are going to last until lunchtime without feeling hungry. I ate it as a child and remember clearly adding my powdered flakes to make it super lumpy or super smooth. If you haven't tried it, it is like super refined porridge oats but has a sweeter taste. My kids have sugar on theirs but you don't have to!

With the cold season here, Ready Brek makes for a nice warm comfort cereal for breakfast. Easy to make and very nutritious. My daughter also enjoys the taste of it. I like how the consistency can be made to your liking, thin, thick or somewhere in between. The U.S is full of sugary cereals, that it is great to have this option.

This just takes me back to those cold, winter mornings when I would come down the stairs hoping to find a hot steaming bowl of ready brek on the table. Things haven't changed much and this is still a great option for a good solid breakfast to jump start the day! If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out.

With the cold season coming Ready Brek is one of the best choices for healthy family breakfast. We always cook healthy food in the morning, porridge, grits, millet or buckwheat. Sometimes there is not enough time to do this and then we go for Ready Brek, Weetabix etc. Ready Brek is a good quick option without any compromises and it is very tasty with butter and some seeds such as sunflower or pumpkin seeds.

We love Ready Brek for winter breaky in our house. It is filling, yummy and quick, a real stick to your ribs way to start the day. They are quick to prepare with milk or water and into the microwave. My children love it with Syrup or a blob of apple sauce and a sprinkling of sugar. I love them a little thinner almost like gruel with cloves and cinnamon and a pinch of brown sugar. Delicious!

I have eaten Ready Brek ever since I was a child, especially in the winter time. I like to eat mine so the mixture is lovely and thick, where you can stand the spoon in it. Try with Golden syrup, or honey, or with sugar and some fruit such as blueberries or a banana, delicious.

Ready Brek is one of those products that you just cannot replicate. I have tried taking regular oats and grinding them down, trawling forums trying to find their ingredients so I can make it at home. So just go ahead and buy it! You cannot beat it's unique taste - reminds me of cold winter mornings before school! Tastes great with a little honey! Yum!

I am so pleased to see that you carry this familiar favourite, I have not eaten since I left my homeland forty years ago.

It is a great choice for breakfast and not quite as filling as porridge can be.

I remember enjoying this for breakfast as a child, mostly on cold blustery winter mornings. My mum used to put a little brown sugar and milk on ours.

On a cold winter's day you can't beat kicking the day off with a bowl of Ready Brek. It's quick and easy to make so even when you are in a rush you can still have a hot and filling breakfast. I personally love this with treacle or maple syrup but you can also add sweetness with berries or sugar.

Ready Brek has a unique flavour that no other cereal has and is quite delicious. Easy and quick to make, and light on the stomach too. It fills you up and gives you a great start to the day, but you don't get that 'too full' sensation that other hot cereals (such as porridge) can give you. I love it!

I'm so glad you can still get this original cereal. You can find it on the shelf of the supermarket along with all kinds of sugary rubbish intended to appeal to kids. Listen to those who know - kids love this! It's so comforting and warming for breakfast, and even in a hot climate you can give it to them for supper.

My two young children adore Ready Brek and eat it every morning without fail. I am delighted as it is 100% oats, no added sugar or salt and fortified with vitamins and iron so I am sure that they start the day healthily.

There are so many unhealthy cereals on the market aimed at children which are 30-40% added sugars so it is great to find one that is healthy.

I generally add a small spoon of honey.

We often use it as a bedtime snack as well.

Easy Brek is the perfect breakfast for the cold winter mornings for all members of my family.

It is a lovely way to start your day knowing that you are getting healthy food.

It tastes great,delicious and is very filling. I add some dried fruit or a sprinkle of nuts if I am very hungry.

Ready Brek is a food that is great at this time of year. Being simple to make yet warm and filling it is fantastic you boost morale in the family prior to going to work or school.
