As a new bride I decided to impress my husband, I knew he liked rice pudding so I found a recipe and decided to make some. Oh my goodness what a nightmare!. The recipe called for such a small amount of rice I decided that I would use more, a lot more. As it began to simmer I had to add more milk and find a larger pan, I repeated this process many times. At this point it simmered in my largest pasta pan. My sink was full of used pans and I was exhausted.
The finished product was very nice but it took so long for us to eat it all my husband asked that we perhaps would take a break from rice pudding for a while, we did indeed!

Uncle Bens BiB Long Grain Rice is another of those wonderful easy to use items you should have in your cupboard. In the blink of an eye (10 mins) you have light, fluffy rice, ready for whatever you need. No attention required other than 'place bag in...take bag out'.

This boil in the bag long grain rice from Uncle Ben is extremely simply to cook.Just pop it in the pan with water for 10 minutes, and tear the bag apart after it has been boiling for that long.
The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because it is plain rice. I am a fan of adding things to rice and without any other ingredients it is hard to make it a better rating.
