Hot and smokey, Waitrose Cooks Ingredients Chipotle Paste is an onion and tomato paste made with Chipotle chillies and Mexican style spices.

A little goes a long way with this medium-spiced paste, and it is the ideal shortcut ingredient for creating an intense smokey flavour for homemade Mexican dishes.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans, you can add this paste to Mexican dishes, pasta sauces and even to baked beans. Or why not try stirring into crème fraiche for a cool yet spicy dip.

White Wine Vinegar (contains Sulphites), Demerara Sugar, Water, Rapeseed Oil, Tomato Paste (11%), Flaked Chipotle Chillies (8%), Onion Purée (7%), Balsamic Vinegar (contains Sulphites) (Wine Vinegar, Grape Must), Smoked Paprika, Garlic Purée, Chipotle Chilli Powder (3%) , Salt, Flaked Ancho Chillies , Ground Cumin , Ground Coriander.

Storage Instructions

1. Store in a cool dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 4 weeks and by date shown. For best before end date see lid.
