First time having redcurrant sauce and it was a true delight. We don't have red currant anything in my home state and I was surprised to learn that the plant itself is illegal in different parts of the US. It's a shame really because these berries are very delicious. The tartness of the sauce really brings out the flavor of the meat it's paired with and it also tastes good as it's own side dish. I recommend adding it to a nice piece of lamb.
