I love fruit cake. This one was dry, very dry. The icing was hard and cracked In half. I ordered it as the reviews were fantastic. Maybe I received one that was outdated. I cant check the date as I trash it, not edible.

Walkers Iced Fruit Cake is a Christmas classic. You cant go through the holidays without enjoying one of these. It is rich, moist, decadent and loaded with a variety of fruits. The cake is nicely topped with a thick layer of sweet sugar icing. A generous slice of this goodness will definitely get your family in the mood for the holidays.

This is a must at Christmas. The cake is moist with plenty of fruit in it the icing is not to sweet or hard a really lovely cake. Although we have plenty of delicious cakes here in Italy Christmas would not be right without a traditional English cake and Walkers is an exceptional choice. If you have never tried it I would highly recommend Walkers Christmas Cake

This cake is delicious. The filling is moist and fruity. It's a nice, but not too thick, layer of icing. I like the flavour of this cake, something we don't have in Belgium. It has lots of flavour, everybody in my family likes it and it is a must at Christmas.
