From years ago i remember golden syrup sponge pudding the problem then was that as the syrup was so sweet we actually reduced the amount of syrup used in the recipe so problem averted!! With Auntys golden syrup puddings i find that the cooking process is so easy but again it is overly sweet so next time i will try making the custard with reduced or no sugar!! tasty snack

It is a very tasty desert. Easy to heat up in the microwave but not absolutely necessary. Maybe a bit too sweet but if you only eat one it is ok for the day. It would taste much better with some maple syrup in place of the current one or with some extra jam.

Quick and easy dessert that tastes so good. My Finnish wife loves these so much that she is always asking me when I am going to put another order in. They are also a perfect size. They may look small but they are so rich and sickly that you couldn't eat more :)
