Spotted Dick was part of a staple diet for us the older generation!! A nice spicy pudding with the addition of fruit and of course smothered in custard!! When i was younger it took hours to prepare and then hours to cook!! Thanks to Auntys spotted dick puddings the whole cooking process is completed in a matter of minutes whilst it is cooling blitz the custard and devour!! nice easy and tasty dessert

I've never eaten any kind of steamed dessert pudding before, and after my first experience, I conclude that they might be a bit of an acquired taste. The flavour of the pudding was rather mild and inoffensive. However, the texture was quite unpleasant to the uninitiated: it was like a really stiff, spongy porridge or slightly undercooked bread that has been dipped in a starchy goo. The raisins currants were a nice touch, but I'm not in any particular hurry to this variety of pudding again.

Auntys has a great selection of puddings and the Spotted Dick is definitely a treat for your palate. The pudding consists of sticky, golden syrup and packed with raisins and sultanas. Heat it up in the microwave for thirty seconds and add a dollop of cream or pour some warm custard over it. You will feel like you are in heaven.

Spotted Dick Pudding is one of my favourites My mum used to make it and I remember it was quite a palaver to prepare and cook.
These days you just heat it in the microwave, Job done! Mum would turn in her grave.
This pudding from Auntys is pretty good for a mass produced item.
