i cannot make gravy from scratch to save my life. At all. I once made chicken gravy from scratch and it turned out purple... Anyhoo these Bisto turkey gravy granules are an absolute life saver for our Christmas dinner. All you actually need to do is add boiling water to a few heaped spoonfuls of gravy granules, stir and that's it. You can make the gravy as thick or as thin as you like by adding more gravy granules, more water etc. The gravy will be perfectly tasty just like this, however if you want to up your gravy game then add the juices from your resting turkey to the jug along with the gravy granules and a reduced amount of boiling water. Add all the turkey juices and then make more gravy than you think you will need as it actually heats up perfectly well the next day if you've used the turkey juices not so much if you've just used boiling water. You also fling in a little redcurrant sauce too if you're feeling especially fancy and want your gravy to have a little sweet kick. Quick, easy and absolutely delicious, order a tub now before they sell out prior to Christmas, I've just received my tub ready for the big day.

I love pretty much any gravy but this one is tasty and not too strong and goes well with both chicken and turkey in my opinion. Glad to have it during the lockdown as it adds flavour to any dish with or without meat. It turned a bowl of rice and sweetcorn into a tasty lunch.

This turkey gravy is a welcome addition to my pantry as my beef gravy is nice, turkey or chicken gravy has always been problematic for me in the past, thank you Bisto and indeed BCS.
Christmas is my all time favourite season, good food, friends and family, and so many memories.
If I may share an amusing story nothing to do with turkey gravy but rather about Christmas.
In primary school we put on a Nativity play every Christmas and the teacher asked us all what part we would like to be considered for, she noticed I was the only one who had not chosen a part, she asked why this was.
I told her I wanted to be TED, she said that there was no such person in the Nativity play. I asserted there was indeed, he was in the Christmas carol - "Whilst shepherds watched their flocks by night all see TED on the ground" Ted was thus a special shepherd.
I did indeed play TED the shepherd and the narrative was written just for me. My teacher explained the situation at the end of the play, my poor mums face was crimson.

Finally! For the first time in history I was able to serve our Christmas turkey with a decent gravy! It took a while to get the proportions right, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend you follow the instructions on the container to the letter - make your own decisions. I would have preferred the option of a smaller container, because I won't be using much more before the next Christmas dinner I cook!

Great stuff,this is a first time that I tried it and I definitely will buy again.Bisto is the best make for gravy granules in my opinion.I do like this kind of thing: just add water. Cooking with good results without stress.We don't just use it for roast,is great on top of any meat.
