My favourite fruit is definitely pear. Although pears are available in most supermarkets, it is still nice to have a couple of cans of tinned pears just in case you would like to have some.
As with all Del Monte products, the quality is perfect and they actually taste almost like a pear you just peeled. Plus these are in pear juice, which you can actually drink.

I've always said that tinned pear halves are more delicious that the actual fresh fruit, and having recently eaten Del Monte's Pear Halves in Juice, I can confirm this. The pear halves are not too soft but juicy and the pear juice they are tinned in is delicious too. Perfect if you are baking a tart tatin or serving the pears lightly poached with wine.
