Jacobs cream crackers are as good today as they have always been, spread liberally with butter then the hard work begins!! what topping do you add if you think these wonderful crackers are purely for cheese then think again!!! as good as they are with cheese of any kind just think of the alternatives - hummus ham marmite the actual list is never ending but whatever you choose the cracker taste remains
Lina from Belgium
I usually buy Carr's crackers to eat with some cheese but I thought, let's try these out but they were a bit disappointing. They lack flavor and I wouldn't buy them anymore. Without cheese they are really plain, a real disappointment, to be honest.

Perfect for me because I am pregnant and eating food from home is comforting for me. Jacobs is by far the best cracker brand! So glad that this website stocks these because I couldn't find any for such a good price.Of course I bought loads because they disappear so fast in my house, we love some good cheese to top them off.
Debra from United States
Jacobs Cream Crackers are the best. I remember them from the time I was a child. I agree with one of the reviews that they don't seem as salty as they once did. That's fine with me. They go better with a topping that way. The perfect cracker for cheese. I love to put butter or cream cheese on them. They go with anything. They are always crisp and actually travel well. The best!
Elizabeth from Germany
Cream crackers are always a good choice as they can be used with so many things. My husband likes to have them with just margarine, which I find boring. I like them with cheese and ham or pate. They are not badly priced so I am happy with the purchase and with probably buy them again when I restock on all the British goodies.

I love my Jacob's cream crackers. They make a perfect snack for anytime.

I was glad to find a cracker to go with my cheese and meat plates. These crackers were good, not exceptional. I was glad that they were not sweet. The price really can't be beat. As long as they are accompanied with another treat, such as havarti cheese or smoked cheddar some of my favorites, these crackers are an excellent tea accompaniment.

Jacobs Cream Crackers are a perfect accompaniment to most cheeses. They are delicious with pate spread on the top or even eaten dry or buttered with soup. They break easily without causing too many crumbs and they have a light creamy taste. The orange and black packaging is a classic design. When stored in an airtight cracker tin they can last up to 34 weeks but in my household, they are eaten within a few days. They are the best cracker on the market.

Jacobs Cream Crackers are an excellent, crispy base for all sorts of toppings. They are low in fat so it is perfectly all right to load them up with whatever the heart desires. They are particularly tasty with cheese - soft cheeses especially and for my preference - blue cheeses.
Eileen from Canada
I enjoy these crackers with a little butter and cheese, they also pair nicely with soup. They do not seem quite as salty as I remember, healthier I suppose but I preferred the saltier taste. My all time favourite is cream cheese with thinly sliced cucumber - makes a nice change from a sandwich at lunch time.

Jacob's is a safe choice when buying crackers. These cream crackers hold the same quality as other Jacob's products and you will definitely know what you get when choosing these.
I often eat these instead of bread when I'm only a little hungry. So in addition to having these with cheese, you can also spread some butter or mayo on them and they are ready to eat immediately.
Clare from Italy
Jacobs crackers make a good base for just about any savoury topping whether it is a good cheese or any other creation. Yes they are dry, they are meant to be, they are crackers. They do appear to be a little less salty than they used to be but they still have that traditional crunch and remain a favourite of mine. Great price too.
Riccardo from Italy
Jacobs Cream Crackers are a great and delicious snack and u can eat them at any time of the day.
Ian from Germany
These crackers used to be top class, now it seems that as time goes on the less tasty stuff goes in them. Perhaps it is a cost cutting exercise by the manufacturer to increase their profit margins.
I always add my own butter and a wedge of cheese to them to really pack out the flavour.
Distinctly average.
Maria Teresa from Italy
These were a great staple in our cupboard for years and years. The best plain cracker there was, but I agree with a fellow reviewer...they have gone down hill. Maybe it's to do with the health brigade cutting out the salt contents, maybe they changed the recipe, but they are not the best cracker around anymore.
Caterina from France
There is no cracker similar to Jacobs Cream Crackers here in Italy so I'll be stocking up on these for Christmas. With the recent price drop they're even more convenient.
On their own they are dry and rather plain, but with the right topping they are outstanding. My favourite supper snack is Jacobs Cream Crackers with cheddar cheese and Branston.
Nuala from Italy
Very disappointed with the taste of these. It might be just me, but I remember them as saltier and more buttery.
These taste exactly like water biscuits, and I've never understood the appeal of those either. Now I know one can't always be harking back to the past (why not?), but I do think it has something to do with the exaggerated amount of variety on offer these days.
After all, if you are going to sell plain and countless other varieties as well, you have to make the plain ones really plain I suppose.
Erica from Canada
These crackers are great to have as a little snack during the day and they are so handy as you just spread some butter and jam on them or some Philadelphia cream cheese. I love that they are so crunchy and crumbly. The taste is great and the price too!
Clodagh from United States
Jacobs Cream Crackers makes me think of Christmas and Saturday mornings when my dad would have them for breakfast with butter and cheddar.
They also remind me of teenage and student days - who hasn't tried to see if they can eat a dry one the fastest? That being said, they are a great snack, brilliantly priced and can be enjoyed simply twinned with butter or dolled up to be part of a very respectable after-dinner cheese board.
In a nutshell; Jacobs Cream Crackers are as much of a pantry staple as sugar and flour.
Liam from Netherlands
I usually buy Jacobs mixed crackers for cheese, but cream crackers make a good and cheaper alternative. I find them a bit dry to eat on their own, so I always add a layer of butter, relish and thinly sliced mature cheddar cheese. They are also excellent with shipmans paste or primula.
