Mcvities are masters in biscuit making. I don't think I have ever tried any products of theirs I really didn't like. Usually I would always have the milk chocolate variety of digestive but I really enjoy the dark choc version. The biscuit itself is perfect for dunking in tea or coffee without losing the biscuit firmness if done quickly. Simply one of the best tasting brands you can get.

McVities Digestives are truly one of a kind providing a truly smashing flavour. In my personal opinion, they bear a flavour incomparable to any other digestive producer. However, the addition of a fine Dark Chocolate layer truly enhances the existing flavour in an incredible manner. The confectionary addition adds a layer of sweetness without overwhelming the fine taste of the digestive itself. Furthermore, I wish to note that the chocolate utilised is by no means of shoddy quality. Thusly, I wish to inform any possible client to avoid placing the biscuits in direct sunlight, seeing as you'll be left with a Digestive brick Seeing as the chocolate melts and sticks rather easily. On that note, McVities Dark chocolate digestives are a true British classic that holds a brilliant flavour enjoyable both individually and with a fine brew.

Love these digestives! I ordered the dark chocolate in error and as it turns out, I prefer them over the milk chocolate! These are a perfect pairing of dark chocolate and the digestive biscuit. Not too sweet, yet satisfies the dessert tooth. These are also so great dunked in tea or coffee. Melts in your mouth! Highly recommend these digestives

These are truly great biscuits. The chocolate and biscuit together are a perfect combination. It is impossible just to eat one of these biscuits they are so scrumptious. When I lived abroad I missed these so much. I hunted high and low but never found anything to match them. They really are a taste of Great Britain.

McVities Dark Chocolate Digestives are the Milk Chocolate Digestives counterpart. The dark chocolate topping is not as sweet and there is definitely a nice balance, which complements the Digestive biscuit base. These pair well with a hot cup of tea, perfect for dunking. If you live in a hot climate, it might be a good idea to store them in the fridge so the chocolate remains intact.

These are by far still the best digestives you can buy, they have the recipe absolutely perfect. They have a sweetness to them but are not too sweet like some, There is a small amount of salt in them that give them a perfect balance. I love both the plain and the milk but I think these might just have the edge. The only criticism I would have to add is that the amount of chocolate topping has definitely been reduced. The last couple of packets looked like the chocolate had been painted on. Maybe I have had a couple bad batches, the actual biscuit itself can't be beaten and I will continue buying them.

I ordered one based on the previous reviews and I have to say it is just an ordinary biscuits. My husband and I are a big fan of dark chocolate biscuits and this one is not that remarkable.

Oh, how I love these biscuits! Whenever I visit England, I try to put as many as possible into my suitcase and bring them back home with me. Now I don't need to visit so often, and I can order them online. The dark chocolate covering makes them so moreish, and once the packet is open I need lots of willpower not to keep eating until they've all gone.

Still with that great original taste and crunch. What a fabulous biscuit this is. It was my favourite when I was a kid and it is still my favourite now. The dark chocolate is the perfect compliment to the biscuit and I always have mine with a good hot cup of tea.

My daughter likes dark chocolate so I bought a packet of these and sent her a 'care package'. I sent her chicken paste and some other favorites I knew she enjoyed. She really liked the dark chocolate biscuits. She told me she polished them off in three days - I was rather surprised but she laughingly said as she is 8 months pregnant with her fifth baby she had a ready made excuse. I guess I will order more for her as she raved about them!

The best biscuit out there, in my opinion. These are always included in my order. They are difficult to come by. I am thrilled that my local supermarket now stocks plain digestives; but that still doesn't beat the wonderful treat of a cup of coffee and plain dark chocolate digestives.

McVities biscuits are my favourite to have with a nice cup of tea, whether you like to dunk them or not. I usually purchase the milk chocolate digestives as we find at home that the uncoated digestives taste like butter and are bland. Eat them within a few days of opening otherwise they will go soft, and keeping them in the fridge is a good idea.

British Corner Store never fails to deliver. I've worried before since it's so hot over here the chocolate would have melted but with their speedy delivery I have yet to find one thing wrong with it.

Love these digestives. Great dark chocolate taste. Mc'Vities sell a version of these biscuits in the country I am currently living in but the change in recipe for local taste is telling!

These are lovely, a proper rich digestive biscuit and lovely chocolate. Agree with the other reviewer above - the package size is too small ; )

I really enjoy these McVities Dark Chocolate Digestives. They are a more acquired taste but one that I have thankfully acquired.

These biscuits are great with a brew or even alone. Be sure to get in the pack quick once your order arrives as your family may well try to get in their before you.

Giving these five stars because they are just as good as the milk chocolate ones. A word of warning though, if you live in a country where it is hot in summer they may melt a bit and stick together. I've put my new packets in the fridge for a while and hope to be able to prise them apart later.

These are really good biscuits, and it is so great to be able to buy and enjoy them so far from home. The dark chocolate ones are our favourite, and the only downside is that with a packet this size they disappear in no time at all! I blame my husband, though I suspect he blames me!
